Spanish 2D animation short film

From Alkimia Animation Studio, we are very pleased to have led the production of the Spanish 2D animation short film “Before Dying, the Wendigo’s Shadow”. An original idea by Carlos Wallas, directed by Alvar Vielsa, and produced by “El Sueño Eterno Pictures“.

“Before Dying, the Wendigo’s Shadow” is a work that proposes a unique fusion between the classic Spaghetti Western and the Japanese style. This Spanish 2D animation short film takes the viewer on an exciting journey through the Wild West, where betrayal, deceit, and death lurk at every corner. The story follows Jack, a solitary cowboy who is swept into a whirlwind of events after agreeing to participate in a bank robbery. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a mysterious Wendigo, an Indian demon that will change his destiny forever.

“Before Dying” is much more than a simple Spanish cinema film; it is an unforgettable experience that challenges genre conventions and captivates the audience from the very beginning.
