Clockfall | 2D Cinematic

We created this 2D game cinematic for Clockfall, a dark fantasy Action RPG developed by Rever Games that combines dungeon exploration with village defense.

Our goal was to produce a 2D animation for video games that captured the emotional core of the story. The cinematic focuses on Wilbur’s past, a half-human, half-demon protagonist whose determination to protect his home drives the entire adventure. Through a cinematic visual narrative, the piece introduces the world of Clockfall and foreshadows the conflict that defines his journey.

For this project, we developed a distinctive artistic direction and cinematic 2D animation that highlight the contrast between the warmth of cherished memories and the darkness of the present. The result is a cinematic that expands the game’s narrative universe while showcasing how 2D animation for video games can strengthen storytelling and create a deeper emotional connection with players.
